Unfortunately, collecting Darksteel is not a cakewalk since they are only present in specific portions of the Mir continent. Where to get Darksteel in MIR M?

The mines of Bicheon Hidden Valleys are one of the spots in Mir continent that has an abundant presence of Darksteel Ore, which you can refine to produce Darksteel. Make sure that you already have a pickaxe since it is the required tool to mine Darksteel.

Note that the Bicheon Hidden Valleys are not accessible in the beginning. You need to progress through the game’s story and perform quests such as the “A Nefarioux Tale” quests so you can start mining. The Bicheon Hidden Valley 1F is accessible as long as you reach level 25.

Note that Hidden Valleys’ monsters are not your typical weaklings, they can kill you if you let your guards down. So it is not advisable to use auto mode when mining in this area.

However, Hidden Valleys of Bicheon are not the sole locations of Darksteel. Snake Pit Hidden Valleys 1F to 4F, which is located between Bicheon Castle and Phantasia, also have abundant supply of Darksteel. However, you should be at least level 40 to unlock this area. It is also helpful to upgrade your pickaxe so that it will be more durable and sustain mining longer. An upgraded pickaxe can also mine faster, saving you lots of time. However, be aware of your pickaxe’s durability because when its durability reach zero, the mining process stops. If this happens, you can fix or repair this tool.

The Phantasia Hidden Valleys 1F to 4F are also rich in Darksteel. However, since it requires higher game level to unlock this area, expect that players that are also mining here are stronger. Make sure that your character is well-trained and equipped with proper Mandala spot points.

Why should I get Darksteel in MIR M?

Aside from using them to enhance your characters, Darksteel is also essential to earn the DRONE token. Note that DRONE is MIR M’s base token that allows you to earn real money. Basically, you need a Darksteel chest (equivalent to 100,000 Darksteel) to stake to get a DRONE token. However, to get DRONE tokens a player must be able to reach level 25 and possess “Hidden Valley Mining Rights Pass”.
