All characters have realistic physical form with smooth combat animations that feature Asian martial arts.

If that sounds good, then you must play MIR 4 now. If you’re worried that this game is difficult to learn, fret not as we’re here to guide MIR 4 beginners like you. We will teach you how to play and earn from this game.

What is MIR 4?

MIR 4 belongs to the MMORPG genre where players assume the role of an in-game character to explore the open world called “Mir”. Your main goal in MIR 4 is to maximize the bounties you can derive by gathering, crafting, hunting, or by fighting against other players in a PvP arena. There are also monsters around the continent that you can kill to get some loot. You can also join clan wars or siege castles to exploit a multitude of resources.

Darksteel is an in-game mineral recognized as the most essential resource of MIR 4. By staking it, players can earn real-money from the game. There are different ways to get Darksteel but the central source is the Hidden Valley. Whoever captures the Hidden Valley will get Darksteel rewards. You can join clans to capture this essential resource and dominate other players.

Note that MIR 4 is not just about battles and wars. There are also “peaceful” ways to enjoy the game. You can grow your character by mining, crafting, gathering, or meditating. This is best for players who are already exhausted from endless bloodshed and casualties.

You can play MIR 4 using your mobile phone or desktop. It is downloadable from Google PlayStore and AppStore. If you are using a PC, you can download it via Steam or use an Android Emulator like Bluestacks.

What are MIR 4 Character Classes?

To completely guide a MIR 4 beginner like you, we will discuss the centerpiece of the MIR 4 gameplay – the characters. These are heroes that every player must assume the role of to explore the world of Mir.

MIR 4 characters are categorized into classes that have distinct abilities and roles. There are five character classes in MIR 4: Warrior, Sorcerer, Lancer, Taoist, and Arbalist.

Warrior: These heroes lead the battle with their powerful swords that crush enemies on their way. They also have high Health Points and Crowd Control abilities that make them durable during combat. Best to use during PvE  and Clan Wars.

Sorcerer: the wizards of MIR 4 realm that wields magic to outlast their enemies. Unfortunately, sorcerers consume a lot of mana so be wise when to use its magical abilities. Best to use sorcerers during clan wars and PvE.

Taoist: specializes in supporting ally heroes to gain their full potential. Have incredible abilities that buff his/her allies’ abilities. Best to use in raids and clan wars.

Lancer: heroes that have a good balance of attack and defense stats that can penetrate enemy defenses using their long and dreadful spears. Best to use in solo farming and PvP.

Arbalist: specializes in long-range combat using their rain of arrows that can inflict damage to multiple targets. Best to use in PvP and Clan Wars.

Whatever character class you opt to use, you need to be familiar with their respective abilities so that you can properly employ them. It takes time to master each character so a MIR 4 beginner should look for a resource material or guide to help you learn their abilities. However, if your main priority is to farm and grind in the game, warriors are the best pick since they are good in auto-combat mode. They can inflict as much as damage to monsters while having large health points to sustain itself in the long farming processes. Sorcerers are also good for grinding purposes but it is more vulnerable compared to Warriors because of their squishy defense and high mana consumption.

For PvP, we highly recommend using either a Warrior or a Lancer since they can give the most damage to enemies. Warriors have the high HP advantage while Lancers have the versatility advantage on being an offensive or defensive element. Taoist is also a good choice but you need to sacrifice your own “Kill” score since it is more beneficial to give it to your allies.

MIR 4 Beginner Guide on Gameplay and Mechanics

Once you already have a MIR 4 installed in your device, you need to sign in using either a Google, Facebook, or Apple account. Meanwhile, a MIR 4 beginner who only wants to follow a guide can sign in as a guest.

After selecting a server, you can now start deciding what character class you prefer.

Once you’ve picked a character class, you can now customize your character’s physical appearance. You can tweak your character’s hair, eyes, lips, and other features to make it more personalized. Finally, you need to give your character a unique name.

If you are using a PC, the main navigational controls for your character are keys W, A, S, and D in your keyboard. But if you are using a phone there’s a movement pad that you can use.

In the early stages of the game, you need to follow the game’s storyline to progress. In particular, there are “quests” or “missions” that you need to perform to increase your character’s level. There are also “requests” that are assigned to you once you talk to a Non-Playable Character (NPC). The most important type of mission you need to do are Main missions that are linked to the game’s storyline. The main mission explores the whereabouts of a significant MIR 4 character named Cheonpa. Note that you cannot accept these main missions “manually” since they are ongoing and must be accomplished.

There’s no single way to play MIR 4 once you have progressed the storyline. You can either perform PvE (Player vs. Environment) or PvP (Player versus Player). If you opt to do PvE, you can mine, gather, meditate, or raid. On the other hand, if you opt to do PvP, you can participate in the Hidden Valley Capture event or Bicheon Castle Siege.

Hidden Valley Capture is a weekly event where clans fight to determine who will “own” the essential valleys of the Mir continent. The event lasts only one hour so players are really tense when this event is happening. There are three valleys that can be captured: Bicheon Valley, Snake Valley, and Redmoon Valley. However, a clan can take one valley only.  Winning this event gives a lot of perks including the receiving of 15% of the mined darksteel in that area as tax to the winning clan.

On the other hand, the Bicheon Castle Siege is a monthly event where clans either capture or defend a castle. This is a one-hour event where around 300 players can participate. Note that clans have to bid to participate in this important event. The leader of the winning clan is hailed as the “king”. Victorious clans will gain rewards such as market taxes in the form of Darksteel. As an FYI, the first Bicheon Castle Siege happened last November 28, 2021.

How to Earn in MIR 4?

Perhaps the deciding factor whether someone will play MIR 4 or not is the income potential of this game. To get it straight, Yes, you can earn playing MIR 4 but do not expect that it will turn you a millionaire in one week (or even a year!).

Blockchain play-to-earn games are not new. In fact, the NFT gaming industry is thriving even before the release of MIR 4. Thus, P2E games are not a new thing. There are a lot of players who have already made money just by playing and MIR 4 is not an exception to this.

We have mentioned earlier that players can earn money through Darksteel, a precious metal in the world of MIR 4. Unfortunately, your ownership of the in-game Darksteel units is not your actual real-world currency. It is just a means to an end. You need to “smelt” or “convert” these Darksteel  and turn them into DRACO. DRACO is the official cryptocurrency of MIR 4. This is one you need to have those sweet US dollars.

How many Darksteel do I need to get 1 DRACO? It depends on the current “exchange rate” between the two. In the early days of the game, around 100,000 Darksteel is needed to get 1 DRACO. However, in 2022, around 400,000 to 600,000 Darksteel is now needed to acquire 1 DRACO. The “exchange rate” between these two is fluctuating so best to check this site to keep track of their values.

So to earn money in MIR 4 you need to mine Darksteel regularly so that you can smelt it into DRACO. To mine Darksteel, finish main missions and mine various nodes in the map. You can also participate in events that give Darksteel as rewards. There are lots of income opportunities in MIR 4!

Note also that you need a level 40 character before you can smelt DRACO. Once you hit this level, the “DRACO” options will appear in your game menu.

Here’s an important tip and guide for MIR 4 Beginner like you – refrain from smelting regularly. You need Darksteel to purchase items and improve powers in the game. If you always smelt your Darksteel to DRACO, you will lose the chance to acquire these upgrades. Thus, smelt your Darksteel only if you deem that you are ready to sacrifice these units. There is also a smelting fee of 1,000 Darksteel per DRACO so be frugal as much as possible.
