Plants and their attributes

In the captivating world of PvU Legacy, plants take center stage as the primary means of generating LE, offering players a unique and engaging gameplay mechanic. With a diverse selection of 45 different plants, each belonging to one of nine factions, players have a wealth of options to cultivate their farms and maximize their LE production.

When planting NFT plants in PvU Legacy, there are six key factors that players should consider:

1. Plant’s Production: Each plant has a specific resource or material that it produces. Understanding the production capabilities of each plant is crucial for optimizing LE generation.

Mother tree

The presence of Mother Trees brings a new level of significance to the ecological balance of each piece of land. With a total of 36 distinct Mother Trees available at launch, these extraordinary NFTs also belong to the nine factions present in the game.

In contrast to regular plants, Mother Trees do not directly produce LE. Instead, they generate valuable items such as Scarecrows, Water, Lottery Tickets, and Seeds, each with their own probability of dropping. However, the true value of a Mother Tree lies not in its material production, but in its remarkable buffing capabilities:

• Synergies: A Mother Tree belonging to a specific faction raises the synergistic requirement by 3 for that faction. For instance, if players have a Dark Mother Tree and three Dark plants on the field, the synergy count for the Dark faction becomes 6, enabling the activation of all skills from Dark plants with 110% efficiency.
• Skill and Skill Zone: The skills possessed by a Mother Tree not only impact all plants within the same land but also extend their effects to neighboring lands. This wide-reaching influence enhances the overall performance of plants in the vicinity.

How to Bid for Slots

This bidding process is a new mechanic introduced in PvU that aims to intensify player interactions and enhance the gameplay experience. To start cultivating, players must choose the environment that fits their plants, choose a piece of land with the composition they desire, and buy slots within that land through bidding.

Only the green slots are available for bidding, all of which have floor and ceiling prices. Players’ bids must be higher than the floor price to be eligible. The bid process will continue until we have the highest bidder or until a player decides to bid equal to or higher than the ceiling price, at which point that player immediately becomes the slot owner for the next 1 year in-game time or 12 days in real-time.

Please note that during the bidding time, you can see the bidding price of all slots, but you cannot see who is bidding on them. This adds an element of suspense and strategy to the process.

How to Plant

Before the Year starts, farmers have 48 hours from the beginning of the bidding process to position their plants or Mother trees. You can only plant on slots that you have successfully won through bidding. During this time, your plants will display all the buffs and synergies they possess. However, LE is not gained until the farming season officially begins.

It’s important to note that there is a 30-minute cooldown for moving NFTs between lands or slots. Once the Year starts, farmers have 12 days to farm LE and maximize their profits. Cooperation with nearby neighbors in terms of slots and lands can significantly enhance your gains. To plant your NFTs:

• Choose “GROW PLANT.”
• Select a position and click “CONFIRM.”

Remember that there is a 30-minute cooldown for moving NFTs between lands or slots, so plan your planting strategy wisely.

How to Harvest

Each plant goes through two stages:

• Stage 1: 8 hours
• Stage 2: 8 hours

Harvesting can only be done at the end of each stage. After harvesting Stage 1, plants progress to Stage 2. After harvesting Stage 2, plants return to Stage 1. Failing to harvest your plants means they will not progress to the next stage and won’t produce LE. Removing a plant results in the loss of all processes associated with it. Therefore, it’s crucial to harvest your plants on time and avoid removing them unnecessarily.

How Crow and Water Work

Lack of water or the presence of a crow can reduce the LE earned from a particular stage. The LE loss is calculated per minute, and if it’s under 1 minute, no LE is lost. Watering your plants and chasing away crows can provide valuable rewards such as seeds, lottery tickets, and LE. The time schedule for watering and crow drop will be announced two days before the start of each Year. Remember to take good care of your plants to ensure maximum LE production.
